The Impact Centre’s  Youth Skills Connection program has now completed training its second cohort.  Supported by SSLNet partner industries and funded by the Government of Ontario, this program offers 25 hours of in-class and on the field education on fundamentals of lighting and modern lighting technologies.  Students with wide background participate in the program – from those just out of their high school to Master’s degree holders. The second cohort of about 20 students have just completed their training and we are now actively seeking placements for them. We have already helped 5 of them to be hired.  If you are interested in hiring one of them, please get in touch with us.  Email to vvenkat@imc.utoronto.ca for more information.

The third cohort training will start in Spring 2016.
